Ask the Tech Guy: An Open Digital Clinic for Congregations

With Chris Ledwaba, Technology Manager at Bible Media

Many congregations know they should improve their digital presence. But the real questions are practical and immediate: Why does our website not help people? Why do our emails go unread? How do we make it easier for people to discover activities or support the church?

This interactive clinic-style session creates space for church leaders to bring their real digital frustrations and questions. Instead of a presentation, the session focuses on live problem-solving.

Participants begin by writing their biggest digital challenge on a card, for example:

• Our website is outdated

• Nobody reads our emails

• We struggle with online donations

• Young people never see our activities online

The questions are grouped into themes, and Chris responds to the most common challenges by explaining:

• what typically works

• what usually does not

• the simplest practical solutions congregations can implement.

The goal is to make technical knowledge accessible and useful for church leaders who want to communicate and engage more effectively in a digital world.

By the end of the session participants will:

• have clarity about their congregation’s biggest digital bottleneck

• gain insight into practical digital tools and approaches

• leave with at least one improvement they can implement in their own context.

Tagline:

Bring your digital problem. Leave with a practical solution.
